The Crestmead PCYC is having Grey Light Disco for over 40’s on Friday 4^th May with 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music.  It’s on from 6pm – 8pm and $10 entry includes finger food, tea and coffee.   RSVP required by Friday 27^th April.  For more information please call 3805 4100

 

The National Careers and Employment Expo is on at the Brisbane Convention Centre on Friday 4^th and Saturday 5^th May.  Its open from 9am to 4pm on Friday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.  The largest national FREE EVENT in Brisbane invited visitors both young and old to come along and get careers advice 

 

The 35th Brisbane Model Train Show is on at the RNA Showgrounds over the May Day long weekned (Saturday 5^th – Monday 7^th May).  Its on Saturday and Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Monday 9.00am - 4.00pm 

 

The 2012 Buddhas Birth Day Festival is on in the cultural forecourt at Southbank over the May Day long Weekend (Fri 4^th, Sat 5^th and Sun 6^th May.  Its on from 10am to 9pm on Friday, 9am to 9pm on Saturday& Sunday.  Admission is free and there is a fireworks spectacular on Sunday at 7.30pm
