I was persuaded by management at 4IP back in the 70's

I'm a wine enthusiast.
What do you do while the songs are playing?
Gather relevant info on the music, take listener calls and prepare music segments.
What do you do when you're not on-air?
Take care of my family, exercise and talk to winemakers.
If you weren't a radio host, what do you think you would be doing?
Running a "bed and breakfast" in Thailand.
If a film was made of your life which actor should play you? Please explain why.
Anthony Hopkins, because he could really get to to the marrow of my little quirks.
Outside of radio have you ever won an award for anything?
My family give me awards every day but none from radio. I'm the best known unknown in radio history.
What's your favourite decade and why?
70's….music was at it's creative best.

The 70's because it was my the time of my spiritual awakening

"It's Like You Never Left" by Dave Mason. You can go on life's journey, meet a million people, make a million bucks but you are still you and whatever love you give is what you get back.
Which famous people have you met / interviewed and who did you like / dislike?
Interviewed Justin Hayward and Mike Pinder from The Moodies….they were sensational. My worst was with Billy Joel. In my opinion he was rude and arrogant.
Who would you like to meet (past / present)?
Dave Gilmore from Pink Floyd.
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I wish I was more of a risk taker.
As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
Radio Broadcaster.
