How did you get into radio?

I annoyed a lot of programme directors until one was desperate enough to actually hire me. Advice to anyone interested in radio. Don't be put off by rejection.

What's the best thing about working for 4BH882?

I can honestly say the listeners we have makes this job all the more enjoyable and of course working with Loretta...she makes great coffee!

Tell us one thing your listener would not know about you?

I'm a bit of a Mummy's boy when I go home.

What do you do while the songs are playing?

Listen to Loretta's jokes, sing along sometimes or discuss Loretta's love life.

If you weren't a radio host, what do you think you would be doing?

Phys Ed teacher

Outside of radio have you ever won an award for anything?

I my younger years I won a few athletics awards

What's your favourite decade and why?

1980's...I loved the music and the fashion. My kids constantly stir me and say my fashion hasn't changed much...sadly I think they have a point.

What was the first record you ever bought?

"Toulouse Street" by the Doobie Brothers.

What's the worst single you ever bought?

A Freddie and the Dreamers song I got from a bargain bin.

What was your first ever job?

A Clerk for a shipping company.

What is your favourite Holiday destination?

Can't beat the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

What is your favourite Childhood memory?

Riding around on my bike with a bunch of mates on the weekend raiding orchards and building huts. I also loved November 5 Guy Fawkes night. 

What's your favourite Band or Artist?

U2, Michael Bublé and the Eagles.

If a party were being held in honour of you, which track would be played to sum you up (and why)?

"Dreamer" by Supertramp.

Which famous people have you met / interviewed and who did you like / dislike?

So many, we are so lucky to have the opportunity.

Who would you like to meet (past / present)?

Bono, Hitler, Ghandi, Marilyn Monroe, John F Kennedy.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

Be a bit more organised and stop leaving things until the last moment.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

A lawyer.
