Because otherwise I could end up sitting in a room talking to myself and that's probably not a healthy thing to do..

How did you get into radio?

As a child I'd create imaginary radio shows at home…. Eventually ended up in a Radio Course in Melbourne leading to first on-air position in Moree North West NSW in April 1973. It's been my career ever since.

What's the best thing about working for 4BH882?

Being employed to do something I still really enjoy and getting to know our listeners.

Tell us one thing your listener would not know about you?

I've been a St. George Rugby League supporter since my youth. They don't make it easy sometimes but it's a "loyalty" thing.

Something on a stage in front of an audience somewhere.

Outside of radio have you ever won an award for anything?

Runner up at the Upper Hunter Combined Primary Schools athletic carnival in 1963. Don't laugh I've still got the cup!!!

The 80's because I was still young enough not to know better.

Tending the grape vines at Wyndham Estate Vineyard In the Hunter Valley NSW.
