Why should the person reading this page tune to your show?

I'll keep you company through the wee small hours and keep it local.

How did you get into radio?

I have always wanted to work in radio and started practising when I was 5 pretending to be an announcer by talking into the garden hose.

What's the best thing about working for MAGIC 882?

Working at MAGIC is like being a part of a family and a close one. Also the music we play are all my favourites that I have grown up with and have always liked. I love all the music from the 60's and 70's through to today.

What do you do while the songs are playing?

Read the paper or sing along.

In my time off I like to?

Go to the beach, have dinner with friends, go to the movies or a good football match or watch DVD's on the weekend.

If you weren't a radio host, what do you think you would be doing?

I would like to run a hotel or work in travel.

Outside of radio have you ever won an award for anything?

I won a meat tray at Greenbank RSL.

What's your favourite decade and why?

My favourite decade was the 70's for music and the 80's for my work as there were lots of fun times and who knows maybe more ahead.

What was the first record you ever bought?

First album was the Monkees

First cassette was Gloria Gaynor

First single was "If not for you" by Olivia Newton John

What's the worst single you ever bought?

"The Pied Piper" by Crispian St Peters

What was your first ever job?

I worked for an accountants firm called FREEBURN, FARNHAM AND BOWD and I was excited to answer the phone as I was a John Farnham fan and at least I got to say his name at work even if it wasn't on the radio.

What is your favourite Childhood memory?

Getting my first record player when I was 10.  A Christmas present.

What is your favourite Film?

"The Sound of Music".  I have watched it around 30 times.

Who is your favourite Band or Artist?

Too many to mention.... Elton, The Beatles, Robbie Williams, The Carpenters, Simply Red, John Farnham, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, The Stylistics and on and on........

What is your favourite Song?

"Close to You"...The Carpenters

What is your favourite Album?

"Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"...Elton John

If a party were being held in honour of you, which track would be played to sum you up (and why)?

"Girls just want to have fun".... Isn't that what it is all about?

Which famous people have you met / interviewed and who did you like / dislike?

Phil Collins, Billy Joel, Elton John, Charlton Heston, Bill Clinton, Spike Milligan, Ronnie Corbett, all of our Prime Ministers and Premiers for the past 30 years plus various Australian TV stars, movie stars and singers. Loved them all except Spike Milligan was totally weird!
