Pricey Right for Breakfast in 2011
4BH882 today welcomed back home Michael Price who will present the Breakfast Show in the New Year. At the age of 25 (a long time ago now), Michael thought if he had to work for a living it should at least be fun and left the banking industry and joined 4BH882. Across those fun years, ‘Pricey’ has been behind some of the best Breakfast presenters, presented his own shows and has become the familiar-friendly stadium voice at many of Brisbane’s premier sporting events.
At a staff announcement this morning Michael said:
“I love the variety in the music we’ve always played on 4BH 882 and I’m looking forward to injecting some fun in the morning, sharing the real useful info and on-time local news and ensuring we continue to put on a show that’s safe for anyone in the family to listen to”
Michael will further cement the 4BH882 dominant position as the radio station where it really is ‘all about the music’. It’s no mistake that Michael will present the only single person Breakfast Show on Brisbane commercial radio.
On welcoming Michael back to 4BH882, Program Director Geoff Harrison said:
“I’ve known Pricey for a good 17 years. He’s more then a radio man that still loves the magic of it, in his heart he’s a 4BH man. His life has been full of more of the good then bad experiences, but he’s had both and he’ll bring that and his current life as a husband and father of two pre-school aged children to Breakfast. He’s real and will be an instant friend-maker each morning”

I am really enjoying your show but could you please play more upbeat songs of a morning... itreally does help if I can sing along and get my mojo working. I want the time, news, weather, traffic reports and good music. It is just wonderful not to have to listen to the constant chatter of co-hosts who seem to think we want to know all about their personal life.

Way to go Pricey. Great to "see" you back on the airways, and at a radio station who respect your talent and work ethic!! I certainly look forward to hearing Pricey's "News and Views", not to mention his great musical taste and range. Can't wait for the New Year!!
