NRL Newcastle-Broncos, AFL Essendon-Brisbane, Rugby South Africa-NZ, Racing - Warwick Stakes.

There’s a massive $300,000 in UNiTAB race jackpots to be won Saturday including a $155,997 Trifecta jackpot on the Warwick Stakes (SR 6).  For your piece of the action get into your local UNiTAB outlet or fire up your UNiTAB betting account.

But wait there’s more! FootyTAB Pick The Margins has also jackpotted! No one selected all round 23 NRL match winners and their correct winning margin range (i.e. 1-12 or 13+). Consequently the round 24 Pick The Margins pool kicks off at $52,000+ with the round 24 pool anticipated to exceed $125,000. Take a mystery bet or form a syndicate but whatever you do forget to get your Pick The Margins bet on by 7:30pm AEST tonight

Newcastle is out of the running for the eight even though the players cling to the belief that they are still a chance. However the Knights can make it tough for the Broncos who are walking a thin line between an almost certain finals spot and the chance of bombing out for the first time in two decades. Brisbane did look rudderless last week without inspirational skipper Darren Lockyer and while Corey Norman shapes as the short term answer, without Lockyer the Broncos could struggle. Home ground might play an advantage. Verdict….Newcastle Knights 1-12

RACING – WARWICK STAKES

Danleigh: impossible to go past, very good first-up behind Love Conquers All, fitter now, proven weight for age performer, likely to sit out the back and finish with a rush, will sprint too quickly for most of these. Sniper’s Bullet: solid third in the same race as Danleigh last time (missile Stakes), obvious chance again. Brilliant Light: big improver last preparation, matching it with the big boys here now at weight for age, will go forward, and may stick on for a place. Dealer Principal: injury plagued galloper; won first-up last time, place claims. Theseo: warhorse, he may need the hit-out, a must for exotics however.
